How BufferUp handles account, workspace, and connected social-platform data.

Effective September 4, 2026

Information we collect

BufferUp processes information you provide when creating and using an account, including your name, email address, organization and client details, preferences, tags, saved replies, automation rules, and content you create or schedule.

When you connect a social account, we receive the account identifier, profile name, authorization tokens, and the platform data needed for features you approve, such as publishing content, reading performance information, or managing comments.

How we use information

  • Authenticate users and operate BufferUp workspaces.
  • Connect authorized social accounts and publish or schedule requested content.
  • Display channels, posts, comments, and available performance information.
  • Provide saved replies, automations, integrations, and MCP-based tools enabled by the user.
  • Protect the service, diagnose failures, and prevent misuse.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell personal information or social-platform data. Information is shared only with service providers required to run BufferUp—such as authentication, hosting, database, media-storage, and connected social-platform providers—or when required by law.

Social-platform permissions

BufferUp accesses only the permissions a user grants. A connection can be removed from BufferUp or revoked in the social platform at any time. Platform data is used to provide the requested BufferUp feature and remains subject to the connected platform’s terms.

Storage, security, and retention

Authorization credentials are stored in encrypted form. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Workspace data is retained while the account or connected channel remains active and is removed when required to provide an approved deletion request, subject to limited security, legal, and provider-controlled backup retention.

Your choices and deletion rights

You may disconnect a social channel at any time. For complete deletion instructions, visit the Data Deletion page. You may also request access, correction, or deletion by emailing info@nexifyme.com.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when BufferUp or applicable requirements change. Material updates will be reflected on this page. Questions can be sent to info@nexifyme.com.
