AI with a human in control

Start with momentum, not a blank box

Generate ideas from the client brief, shape each version for its network, and keep every suggestion editable. Nothing publishes by itself.

Channel-ready content

Every channel gets its own finishing pass

One campaign does not have to mean one identical post. Keep the central idea together while giving each destination the treatment it needs.

Format-aware publishing

Keep the destination in view while preparing media, links, and copy for each network.

A caption for each audience

Adapt the same campaign idea without forcing identical text into every channel.

Review the final version

Approvers see the copy and destination together before anything joins the queue.

Connections stay visible

Know when a channel needs attention and reconnect it from the client workspace.

A home for every connected network

Plan centrally, then finish each post with its destination in view.

Reliable by design

Built for the messy middle of agency work

The best workflow is not only fast when everything goes right. BufferUp keeps ownership, review state, and publishing status visible when plans change.

Approval before publishing

Nothing leaves the workspace until the right person signs off.

Encrypted credentials

Connected-channel credentials are encrypted before storage.

Reconnect without the mess

Refresh an expired connection without abandoning scheduled content.

Questions, answered

Know how it works before you connect anything

Straight answers about networks, approvals, publishing, AI, and credential handling.

Which networks can BufferUp publish to?
11 of them: Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, and Mastodon. You connect each channel once with OAuth, and BufferUp handles refreshing the token from then on.
How is this different from a personal scheduling tool?
Client separation and approvals. Each client gets its own workspace with its own channels and content, so nothing can cross over, and posts move through a review step before they publish. That is the part agencies outgrow personal tools over.
Can my client approve posts without full access?
Yes. Drafts go to a review queue where a reviewer can approve, leave a note, or send the post back. Nothing publishes until it is signed off.
What happens if a post fails to publish?
It is marked failed with the reason the platform gave, and it stays visible in the queue rather than disappearing. You can fix the post and retry it — BufferUp will not silently drop content or repost it without you.
Does the AI publish anything on its own?
No. AI suggestions arrive in the composer as editable drafts. Every post still goes through the same scheduling and approval path a hand-written one does.
How are my clients’ social credentials stored?
OAuth tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are written to the database, and the key never leaves the server environment. Disconnecting a channel deletes its stored credentials. See the Security page for the detail.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Disconnect a channel and its credentials are removed immediately. For full account deletion, email us from your account address and we will remove your organization’s data — the Data Deletion page has the steps.
